The BabyPod 20 addresses this with a revolutionary sliding lid mechanism: The front section glides smoothly backward over the rear, providing clear, unrestricted access to the infant's upper torso and head without altering the pod's compact height or width. Building on this, the full viewing lid can fold completely backward over the pod's rear, opening the entire patient compartment without side obstructions—essential when ventilation or monitoring equipment is positioned alongside the unit.

Inside the BabyPod 20, you'll find the trusted shock-absorbent foam lining from the BabyPod 2, now paired with removable, washable, and autoclavable covers that fasten directly to the carbon fiber shell for added hygiene and ease of maintenance. The upgraded vacuum mattress takes infant security further by allowing positioning straps to thread through the outer foil, creating a tighter, more customized fit that forms the snuggest protective cocoon for newborns.
